Environmental Science Education Grants
The Mother Lode Chapter offers grants to elementary, junior high, and high schools for specific projects designed to enhance the environmental and scientific education of students. We are flexible about the amount of money we can provide and the support we provide for individual projects. The attached application form contains more information about the type of projects we are looking for, and contacts for more information.
Breathe California Grants
We also offer grants to schools participating in Breathe California’s A.I.R project. These grants fund mitigation programs designed to improve air quality in and around participating schools. The attached application form contains more information about how to apply.
Golden West Section Student Scholarship
The Mother Lode Chapter is one of several chapters of the Golden West Section. Each year the Golden West Section awards scholarships to one or more students in the field of atmospheric or environmental science. The Golden West Section website provides details and an application form.
A&WMA provides programs and activities designed and conducted by environmental professionals for environmental professionals. Membership in A&WMA provides access to a worldwide network of individuals from industry, government, and the consulting, research, academic, and legal communities who engage in the exchange of technical and managerial information.
